Terms and Conditions

Canada

1. The total booking price stated on the Confirmation is based on the specific service and hours outlined therein. If any error occurs, notify Layman Tour & Transport Inc. at once for a revised quote/confirmation to be issued.
2. To confirm a reservation, the customer should return the signed Confirmation as well as the Terms and Conditions within a week along with 15% of deposit. Non-receipt of the above may result in your booking cancellation. The balance is due fourteen days prior to the date of service.
3. A detailed itinerary is required at least two weeks prior to departure. If you make any changes to the itinerary and/or you exceed the amount of time on which the quote/confirmation is based, the customer agrees to pay any additional charges at the prevailing tariff rates.
4. Driver's hours of service must comply with the Federal, Provincial, U.S. and Layman Regulations. Customers can be charged or held liable for exceeding the regulations.
5. Unless otherwise stated in the quote/confirmation, all charges for highways, bridges, ferries, parking, hotel rooms, gratuities and any additional imposed tolls are the responsibility of the client and must be paid.
6. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Layman Tour & Transport Inc. of a cancellation fourteen days (minimum) prior to trip departure. In this context the deposit is refundable after deduction of 3% of administration fee. Failure to cancel fourteen days minimum will result in a 75% of cancellation fee and the rest of 25% applicable in a next charter.
7. For the customer’s peace of mind, a cancellation insurance can be subscribed for extension of the cancellation deadline of up to 2 days prior to the date of service by paying 10% of the total cost. Any cancellation within the terms of this insurance will be subject to a full refund.
8. All claims must be served to the Bus Company within three days following the termination of the trip by a written and detailed document outlining the reasons for the claim.
9. Layman Tour & Transport Inc. disclaims any responsibility for lost objects or forgotten personal belongings on the bus after termination of the trip.
10. The client will be responsible and must indemnify the Bus Company for the cost of repairs or any damages caused to the bus by the group.
11. The Bus Company reserves the right to solicit the services of another bus company to fulfill the charter agreement.
12. Article 430 of the Highway Security Code prohibits any passenger on board to smoke or consume any alcoholic beverages.
ALL SPECIFIC TERMS WILL BE MENTIONED ON THE CONFIRMATION CONTRACT.

 

U.S.
